The Ruining Mario Kart DS Series (est. 2020) is a collection of Mario Kart DS ROM hacks that are made to not improve the game at all where the fun-ness is questionable.

As it says on the tin, every course has had the checkpoints, CPUs and some objects reversed to really one up how lame of Nintendo it was to choose mirror mode over this. This was the first proper entry in the Ruining Mario Kart DS Series

I randomised all the animations, only to turn it into a dash-Hoik video...
I randomized all the animations of the ingame racing, the menu animation hasn't been touched, I only made this into a proper short, however later down the line I streamed it to showoff every character. This isn't a great idea as MKDS doesn't have many animations

The tracks are tiny, thats it, may be a bit buggy
Every Mario Kart DS racetrack has been shrunk 5times, along with some modifications to the KCL to not softlock, do note you can still softlock if you fall off the course before the countdown, this can be fixed by falling off or getting hit after the countdown is over. Try and use smaller karts as tracks like rMB and F8C can be impossible

A mod of random kart stat messing around with, egg1 has the best stats, the Dry Bomber has the worst stats, the Gold Mantis has curated best stats for MKDS sake, Standard MR has the average stats and Brute (I think, I'm not checking) has randomised stats

want to race wiggler on Figure 8 Circuit because it wouldn't work on Rainbow Road, sure
Modified missions are 1-1 (easy), 1-2 (harder), 1-3 (a lot harder), 1-4 (might be impossible) and 1-5 (probably impossible), 7-boss is also modified with the broken wiggler on Rainbow Road
known issues:
- the right star in the first set disappears after the countdown
- ranks are not implemented
